The three training sessions I attended at the International Courses Silhouette Lift in Barcelona, Spain were indeed very constructive.

For a perfectly safe lifting procedure in my clinic, I use the methods of Silhouette Lift and Silhouette Soft, as well as PDO thin absorbable threads.

Using thin absorbable threads, a small needle and flexible bi-directional cones, I elevate the tissues, under only local anesthesia, in my clinic within an hour. In this way, the sagging skin on the face, neck, double chin, and cheeks is corrected, while a brow lift is also achieved.

The innovation lies in the idea that with an internal stitch we can lift a part of skin and secure it in its new position.

In fact, special threads are used for this purpose, which bear tiny bumps and push the skin upwards. They are inserted through tiny passages without even the need for an incision.

Sometimes more than one entry is required in a specific point for the desired result to be achieved. The procedure is completed and the lift is achieved, while the new position of the skin has been secured.

In the following days, the skin surrounds the threads with collagen and thus strengthens their action and stabilizes the result.

The face will assume its final form after about one week but it will continue to improve. Polylactic acid, of which threads are made, stimulates collagen production, thus the face looks renewed within a very short time.

In any case, over time your face will be in a much better condition compared to what it would be had you not followed this treatment.
